Oh my Dog! yes OMD!

We are a little bit excited to say the least to be starting on a new venture with Oh my Dog! in Puerto Banus. It started out as an order for this little fella who now stands proudly in the shop displaying the beautiful collars.

And for this chair which was upholstered and painted to order to perfectly co-ordinate with the design scheme in the shop.

Veronica then suggested that I should get involved in designing and creating some dog beds. She was unimpressed by the quality and design of many of the beds on the market and felt there was a demand for unique and different designer style beds, made with quality materials but not priced to break the bank.

The first models are now in the shop and have been made with comfort, style but also practicality in mind. The covers are all removable and washable but at the same time each bed has it´s own unique style.

As inspiration took hold, and after a good bit of online research we could also see the possibilities in creating a higher end range of dog furniture. So far we have 2 prototypes on display, "The Sofa" and "The Bed-head". the idea being that these pieces can be made to order in the customers choice of fabric combination. Again cushion covers are removable and washable. We are also looking at different ways to personalise each piece.

The next model (nearly finished) will be "The Chaise-longue".....
Watch this space!

Oh and Tinks was quite sad to find out the sofa wasn´t actually for her, she definitely needs to start saving her pennies if she wants one!

Well it feels like summer has arrived early this year and this has inspired this weeks creations....
I am thinking bags, bright bags, cute bags, beach bags, denim bags.
Even better recycled bags, light easy to carry bags, and stick em´in the washing machine bags.

Neutral shades, creams, off whites and beiges are the most abundant of my offcuts. These new cushions are still different and fun but would also fit in well with a more elegant, classic interior. They add a unique touch without being overpowering and provide texture and pattern while keeping a neutral palette.
